Terms for the public demonstration

The public demonstration lets you try Appellation with selected prepared taxonomies. It is provided for evaluation and may be limited, changed, paused, or withdrawn.

Permitted use

Use the demonstration lawfully and within its published limits. Do not attempt to evade safeguards, disrupt the service, extract packaged artifacts, or use the service to process material you are not permitted to share.

Results

Results are automated taxonomy mappings, not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for deciding whether a result is suitable for your use.

Availability

The demonstration has no service-level commitment. A failed request is not an ambiguous mapping, and the service does not substitute a category when live mapping is unavailable.

Taxonomy sources

Public taxonomies remain subject to their source organizations' terms and attribution. Appellation's inclusion of a taxonomy does not imply sponsorship or endorsement by its source organization.
